TAQA Dinner Dances 2011

This year's TAQA Dances were held at the stunning location of Fyvie Castle in May. A spectacular evening of fine dining, entertainment and dancing was enjoyed by hundreds of guests, with the backdrop of the castle visible through the clear marquee roof.

aspc calendar 2012

Produced in time for the Walker Cup which took place at Royal Aberdeen Golf Club in September, the 2012 calendar is the latest in a series of aspc calendars featuring highly creative images from golf courses around the north east of Scotland from renowned Aberdeen photographer Ray Smith.

Offshore Europe 2011

We had a very busy Offshore Europe providing a full maketing communications service to many clients, including stand design and build, co-ordination of marketing material and promotional merchandise, and various event management projects. We were also responsible for dressing the VIP area, sponsored by TAQA, resulting in a understated Arabian theme which provided an area of calm for VIP guests during the exhibition.

Bristow - Helitech Exhibition

We worked with Bristow to design, build and fully manage their stand at the Helitech Exhibition in Cambridge in September. A full 'walk on, walk off' service provided by M&G, meant that the client could concentrate on the main business of developing new contacts and cementing existing client relationships.

M&G Communications - new team members

During 2011, M&G's Communications operation has been restructured to further build on the service offering of crisis response and media training. Neil Jones, who has supported M&G in a variety of roles over the years has joined on a more permanent basis and, in addition to supporting the emergency response service, brings a wealth of copywriting and general media communications experience to the team. Richard Thomson's crisis resposne skills have been honed over many years having previously worked with a consultancy serving many oil and gas majors. With experience in graphic design, Richard also works with M&G's in-house design team.

International media training

M&G has internationalised its training provision. Doug Allsop, in association with video and film company Cinecosse, delivered a television training course in The Hague to the Vice President and executive team colleagues of a client oil company which is preparing to take a rig on contract in Dutch waters.

Offshore Achievement Awards

M&G has been commissioned by the Society of Petroleum Engineers to rebrand and relaunch these long established Awards. This has involved branding, securing all sponsorship and co-ordinating all aspects of promotion. It will culminate in the delivery of the 2012 Awards Dinner in March 2012. Nomination open from 31 October.
