We would like to offer our congratulations to Transition Extreme Sports for winning two awards at the Northern Lights Tourism Awards. Against stiff competition, Transition won the Come to Aberdeen Trophy – “acknowledging those individuals and business who have made a significant contribution to increasing value of tourism in Aberdeen and those which raise the profile and awareness of the city as a visitor destination.”

In addition Transition was one of only two companies to be nominated for a second award – the Innovation Award – for “innovative products or business processes that has not previously existed in the tourism sector or a new means of packaging tourism services or expanding or entering new markets.” Transition did not win this one, but received one of three Highly Commended Certificates.
