  • If you weren’t in Business Development, what would you be?

    I always wanted to be in the police or Merchant Navy.

  • What’s your BD superpower:

    It is not a superpower but I listen and smile. I fully believe that when people feel listened too, they feel respected and they know that we care.

  • Secret weapon in a meeting:

    The M&G team. By brining in the team at an early stage, it helps to build that trust and understanding and the client gets to meet the team that will be undertaking the work for them.

  • How do you spot a great opportunity:

    For me it is all about building up relationships, listening and not selling hard but rather informing people what M&G do. From there it is often instinct, you learn to know who is and isn't interested.

  • Top BD tip:

    Listen, listen, listen.

  • Dream client, and why:

    A bike manufacturer/cycling brand like Canyon. Cycling is a hobby of mine and to work with a cycling company would be a dream.
