Website focused on multiple stakeholder groups for TauRx Pharmaceuticals

With the hope of developing a new website which not only communicated overall business activity and identity, but provided specific information to their stakeholder groups - TauRx Pharmaceuticals sought our help.

It was of extreme importance to TauRx that each user was able to find the information they were looking for on their website. Therefore, we began to identify the company’s ‘user groups’ to ensure each type of user would get exactly what they needed when visiting the TauRx site.

From this, we produced a website site plan to help us develop the structure of the website. This consisted of looking at what information and content would feature on each page and how these pages would then interlink to ensure there were clear calls to action for the user.

The homepage on any website is often the first point of interaction an organisation has with its stakeholders. As a result of this, it is extremely important to have effective homepage design to ensure users have access to the core content and information in an easy, accessible way - allowing them to find out more.

For TauRx, the key elements required for their homepage included:

  • Header graphic & introductory statement on who they are
  • Latest news
  • Information on research & clinical trials
  • Section pages signposting to ‘The Science’, ‘For Patients & Carers’ and ‘For Medical Professionals’
  • Video content with embed files from their YouTube channel

Section pages such as ‘The Science’, ‘For Patients & Carers’, ‘For Medical Professionals’, ‘Clinical Trials’ and ‘Pipeline’ allow content to be written with a specific audience in mind and information pages covering ‘News & Insights’, ‘Education, Advocacy and Resources’ and ‘About’ complete the picture. In all cases, clear navigation means the user can easily access the information they need

As a leader in Alzheimer’s disease research, TauRx wanted to ensure that they could post news and insights about the company on a regular basis. Therefore, utilising the Craft CMS allowed us to do just, take a look here: News & Insights
