End-To-End Sponsorship Management
To secure the funding needed for Tall Ships 2025, we researched sectors and companies with proven community support or CSR commitments. We then designed multiple sponsorship tiers and began a targeted outrach campaign; strategically matching high-value organisations with event assets like a family zone, a volunteer programme or sustainability initiatives.
Through tailored outreach, personal meetings, and careful negotiation, we secured 62 sponsors across multiple tiers, contributing both financial and in-kind support. We were the central point of contact throughout this process; coordinating with marketing, hospitality, and operations teams to ensure all benefits from VIP access to branding opportunities — were delivered flawlessly.
Beyond partnership management, we also took responsibility for the full financial administration of sponsorship activity. All invoices and payments were managed directly through Mearns & Gill, relieving Aberdeen City Council of administrative burden and ensuring prompt, accurate reporting.
